Intratumoral administration of encapsulated paclitaxel with GW2580 increased the survival of mice implanted with mammary tumor. Highly aggressive 4T1 tumor cells were implanted into 4th mammary fat pad of BALB/c mice and treatment was started 1-week post-implantation and total three doses (one dose/week) were injected. a Three doses injection of encapsulated paclitaxel plus GW2558 increased the survival of the mice while all naked paclitaxel injected mice died within 70 days. b However, there were no significant difference in tumor size up to 42 days between groups. Results are presented as mean ± SD (3–5 mice in each group)
