Illustration of synthetic procedures for R837@PLGA@Neu. After tail vein injection, R837@PLGA@Neu nanoparticles were targeted into tumor tissue after RT. Enhanced antitumor immunity was induced by the TLR7 agonist R837 in local tumors that received RT, and the systematic immune response mediated by activated T cells triggered an abscopal effect in distant tumors
