Selection of experimental conditions for thermal ablation. MHCC97-H cells were cultured and inoculated into nude mice to form subcutaneous tumors, after which the subcutaneous tumor tissue was treated with radiofrequency ablation (RFA) (A–C) and microwave ablation (MWA) (D–F). Tumor volumes were measured weekly to plot tumor growth curves, and tumor tissues were collected from the animals at the end of the experiment to weigh the tumors. *P < 0.05
